Identify the existing assembly
Provide equipment make and model, part references and photographs of the complete electrode assembly. Include terminals, mounting points and the cell interface. A similar appearance alone does not establish interchangeability.
Record dimensions and operation
Add a measured drawing, plate count or mesh dimensions, connection details and available operating data. Note whether the equipment reverses polarity and include the manufacturer’s relevant instructions when available.
Describe why replacement is needed
Describe the observed condition, service history, cleaning approach and any changes in operation. Separate an observation from a suspected cause; neither a photograph nor a description is a confirmed diagnosis.
Confirm the proposed configuration
Agree on the drawing, materials, coating requirements and interface before proceeding. Where a sample or equipment trial is needed, discuss the evaluation conditions and acceptance criteria with the project team.
